Harm Franklin has taken the music game by storm with his new hit single Stunnin’ alongside Curtis Waters that premiered in May 2020. The single was an instant hit, quickly garnering over 123 million streams on Spotify.
Harm, aka Harmenvir Khara, was born in Toronto, raised in Calgary and is of Punjabi heritage. What makes him stand out as an artist is he allows his unique melodies to mesh with his display of genuine emotion and vulnerability, as he’s very sensitive to his surroundings and experiences.. His selection of beats combined with his versatility create something that is all his own not bound to one genre. Think Drake mixed with Lil Uz Vert; a melodic trap sound mixed with a sweet melody of drums. His subjects go anywhere from love & heartbreak to ambitious goals and the harsh realities of what he’s gone through during his upbringing.
He has built his name in his hometown by throwing, organizing and headlining his own shows while bringing out his Republic Records collaborator Nessly, and Puffy L’z. Recently we wrapped a European Tour with international rapper Tymek that was anchored by the Fresh & Dope festival in Poland, that spanned across 6 other countries.
The singer is also a skilled songwriter and wrote a verse on Merkules’ 2018 album “COLE” which charted at #1 on Canadian iTunes with the song “Michael Jordan” charting at #19 on Billboard Hot 100. He had one of his songs be an official theme song for The NLL team (formerly known as The Edmonton Rush) for the 2016 season, which he performed in Rexall Place in front of 8,000 people.
Harm has been featured on blogs such as Billboard, Lyrical Lemonade, GENIUS and twice on Complex’s Northern Touch Song of The Month, to name few.
